What We Do
A photoshoot with I am Abi Fine Art Photography is not just about taking photos. Rather it is a total experience that begins when you first send us a message. We treat each client as a unique individual with distinct and specific needs. As such, we go beyond the norm to make sure that we understand your photography requirements.
Once a photoshoot is set, the next step is to schedule a comprehensive and in-depth online consultation with you to discuss the details of your shoot. The consultation includes discussion on set design, hair and make-up options, wardrobe recommendations and color palette. This is in consultation with other highly experienced members of the team, specifically our hair and make-up artist and wardrobe creator. As they say, no stone is left unturned. We believe that in this way we are best able to understand what you expect from the photoshoot.
The day of your shoot is when the magic begins. A unique experience is tailor-fit to you as we transform the studio according to your concept – an enchanted garden, magical fairy land, old victorian setting, classic Hollywood glam and many more. Sets are customised, built and styled by Abi herself. So you can be sure of the quality and accuracy of the styling. Part of the experience is having our in-house hair and make-up artist act as your personal assistant for the day. She makes sure that you look perfect in every shot. It doesn’t matter whether you have had previous photos taken or if this is your first time because Abi will guide you every step of the way, on the various poses and facial expressions that flatters you and best fits your concept.
Once your session is done, your images are professionally and meticulously edited. We then present to you a gallery of your chosen photographs which allows a better appreciation of your photos. As advocates of prints we also offer the highest quality prints that are meant to showcase the images from your shoot. A classic and timeless gallery to treasure today and years from now.
